HOW TO INSTALL
Step 1
Secure the AC pump’s float switch in the “on” position with a zip tie and attach the mechanical float switch to the discharge tube near the bottom of the sump pit.
Step 2
Plug the AC float switch into the appropriate socket and connect the pump power cord to the “AC PUMP” port on the Basement Defender unit.
Step 3
Plug the AC float switch into the appropriate socket and connect the pump power cord to the “AC PUMP” port on the Basement Defender unit.
Step 4
Plug in the humidity and temperature sensor, placing it in a high location away from temperature-affecting features like exterior walls, ducts, windows, etc.
Step 5
Secure the AC pump’s float switch in the “on” position with a zip tie and attach the mechanical float switch to the discharge tube near the bottom of the sump pit.
Step 6
Press the test button to initiate pump learning, then download the mobile app from the Apple or Google Play store.
Step 7
Watch and follow the WiFi pairing guide tutorial videoScan the QR code to pair with Wi-Fi and input your registration information accordingly.
Step 8
Once paired, wait for an email with instructions to activate the free 12-month daily testing and alert services.
